Department of Information and Network Communications
Spirited / Exceptional / Outstanding
Founded in 2002, the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering presently offers a four-year undergraduate program and a two-year weekend program of continuing education. Currently, the department has some 400 enrolled undergraduates, and 12 full-time faculty members (2 professors, 6 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, and 1 lecture) with professional ranging from computer science, network programming and management, wireless communication systems, antenna design, telecommunication techniques, and signal processing.
The undergraduate courses, designed with equal emphasis on theory and practice, cover basic knowledge and skills in the fields of computer and communication systems, and we stress especially on the integration of both fields. The main goals are to train the students to have excellent abilities of employment and enough learning for further education.
